The 4th installment of the Diversity in Science Carnival is up. Please stop by and check out the great post contributions about programs to increase diversity in the halls of academia. Thanks to all of the contributors and please leave your comments. And prepare your contributions for the next carnival - STEM Diversity programs for pre-college students and general audiences. Write a post about local science and engineering programs in your region or that you may have participated in.

Both carnivals are in prepartion for ScienceOnline2010. Anne Jefferson of Highly Allochthonous (ScienceBlogs) will lead a discussion about programs that broaden participation in STEM and how the internet can be used to raise the profile of and build support networks for women and minority scientists and engineers. 1. Thanks so much for sharing this with your readers. I hope you all enjoy the posts. Since you post so much about scholarships and internships for young people, I hope you submit something to the upcoming carnival.
